We are excited to announce that the May fundraiser that Landmark Ford Lincoln sponsored successfully raised $34,490 for the Oregon Food Bank.  That sum includes $19,490 in cash donations from the dealership, the community, as well as Landmark customers and staff.  The remaining funds came from The Ford Fund Covid-19 Donation Match program, which offered to match local donations up to a total of $15,000.

With more than 400,000 Oregonians having recently lost their jobs, Oregon Food Bank is facing 20%-60% spieks in demand for hunger relief.  Oregon Food Bank distributes food through a statewide network of 21 regional food banks and over 1,200 assistance sites.

"When we learned of Ford's Donation Match program, we decided to direct a significant portion of our advertising towards raising local funds," explained Jim Corliss, President of Landmark Ford Lincoln.  "It took us just 24 days to exceed Ford's local funding limit, which shows how concerned our customers, employees and the community are about helping feed Oregonians."

"We want to thank everyone who contributed," added Corliss.  "But we also want to emphasis that the need for donations to Oregon Food Bank continues.  A large percentage of those who have filed for unemployment have yet to receive funds and many people are not eligible.  With so many Oregonians now struggling to feed their families, we can't turn our backs.
