The solution? A new in-house advertising firm that everyone here at Landmark Ford Lincoln is quite excited for. The new "boutique" ad agency will be located in the Chelsea district of Manhattan, and it has been tasked with creating a daring new image for the 96-year-old brand.
Of course, there's quite a bit to selling everyday consumers on the idea of a luxury car. After all, luxuries are nice, but we are living in a time when more and more people are opting to forgo the wants in life in favor of the needs. That said, we're confident that the 45-employee team that comprises 'Team Lincoln' will be able to craft a compelling and sophisticated pitch that explains why consumers deserve to treat themselves to the unmatched style, power, and comfort that's offered in the new Lincoln lineup.
"Lincoln is at a crossroads and we have to match the great product we have now and have coming with the right message. ... We really have to get Lincoln noticed better," said Jim Farley, Ford's group VP for global marketing.1
