LINCOLN Continues to Target Youth Demographic

Are luxury cars really for the elderly? That seems to be the current mindset of the car-buying public, and a recent survey more or less proved this notion correct. In 2009 and 2010, a survey conducted amongst senior citizens showed that their favorite car was the LINCOLN Continental. Furthermore, according to a TrueCar.com survey, 89.6 percent of those who purchased a LINCOLN Continental were older than 65. And, what's more, over half of car-buyers who were older than 65 chose the LINCOLN brand in general.

We here at Landmark Ford LINCOLN can't help but complement today's seniors on having such exquisite taste. However, we know that many young people don't want their car to be designated an "old person car." And, that is something we can understand too. LINCOLN is looking to prove that its lineup is "Not Just For Geezers," and models like the Lincoln MKZ and the Lincoln MKS are proving it more each day. In fact, they're managing to attract an entirely new range of car-buyers, some who are as young as fresh out of college.

Of course, no matter what your age is, we welcome you to come take the new LINCOLN you've been eyeing for a test drive. On second thought, we would request that you at least be old enough to have a drivers license... you know, legal reasons. If you'd like to arrange a test drive for any of the new or used cars that we carry from top automakers like Ford and LINCOLN, then be sure to either dial (877) 883-5386 or to send in a contact form online.

"Lincoln continues to be focused on our plan of becoming a world-class luxury brand that offers exceptional products and a customer experience to match," said Lincoln spokesman Christian Bokich. "We value all of our customers from past and present and are focused on a progressive luxury customer in the future."1

LICOLN has confirmed that it will release seven redesigned or entirely new models by the end 2014. Current production rumors are also claiming that one of those models could be a smaller car, like the LINCOLN C hatchback concept from 2009... a very youth oriented car indeed.

For now, however, you can learn more about specific models, like the LINCOLN MKT and LINCOLN Navigator, simply by check out the inventory and showroom sections of this website. Once there, you'll be treated to a wide range of information that will help you come to an informed decision when visiting us at 12000 SW 66th Ave Tigard, OR 97223.
