Whoever said there is no imagination involved in building with Legos anymore obviously hasn't seen the latest creation of 22 designers in conjunction with both Lego and Ford. They've created a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that pays homage to one of our favorite vehicles: The Ford Explorer, and it's quite the site to see!
Call us here at Landmark Ford Lincoln easy to impress, but we think the380,000 brick auto is quite an impressive feat... Can you imagine the cleanup after disassembling it? Luckily, neither Lego nor Ford has any plans to do so yet. Rather, they're planning to bring the massive creation to LegoLand in Orlando, FL.
The Lego Explorer is a non-drivable model, but that hasn't stopped us from fantasizing about getting behind the wheel and taking it for a spin. Of course, you don't have to fantasize about getting behind the wheel of the real Ford Explorer. You can simply dial (877) 883-5386 or submit a contact form online to take it for a test drive today. The same goes for any other new Ford model that may have caught your eye as well!
"We're less than a month from opening and the anticipation level is incredibly high," Legoland Florida General Manager Adrian Jones said in a press release. "This is the only park of its kind in the world built exclusively for kids ages 2 to 12, and it will be a total departure from anything families with young children have seen before. It's a completely immersive experience, engaging kids' imaginations and their sense of adventure through interactive play."1
Nearly 2500 hours were spent constructing the Lego Explorer. It's clear that the designers working on this project took their time and decided which Ford model was right for them to replicate.
