Lincoln has quite a bit in store for the 2013 model year, and nothing proves it more than the luxury automaker's appearance at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto show. We here at Landmark Ford Lincoln were thrilled to hear that there are big updates coming to the Lincoln MKS and Lincoln MKT in 2013, and we'd like to take a minute to go over what these changes are and what they mean for you as a consumer.

Both models are currently set to feature the newly redesigned 'waterfall grille' that the American automaker is so well known for. This version, however, features darker lines that are spread further apart. This works to give the front end a more menacing look no matter which model it's featured on.

Both vehicles will feature a 3.7-liter V6 engine, much like their predecessor variants, but they'll feature a total of 26 more horsepower. Meanwhile, the addition of Lincoln Drive Control to both models ensures that drivers will get the most out of them, no matter what the setting.  The system features three preset driving modes: Sport, Comfort, and Regular, which are each designed to appeal to a different sense of the driver.
