The Sync system, which is praised for its convenience and safety, is being reduced in price  by $100. That's right, the Sync system is acutally dropping in price from $395 to just $295.

Ford isn't happy just cutting the price tag on the Sync system though. Rather, Ford is looking to make it more accessible as well to drivers by offering it on across all model ranges, instead of just higher end trim levels. It should be noted, however, that there will likely be variations in the Sync systems functions depending on the model and trim.

- Audible text messages

Looking ahead, Ford is planning to bring the new lower cost Sync system to the 2013 Ford Taurus, 2013 Ford Focus, 2013 Ford Flex, and 2013 Ford Escape. It is obvious that Ford is taking their customers seriously by offering them such an incredible service at an approachable price.
